We are seeking a Storage & Data Solutions Intern - COOP to join our team. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced sales, presales, and technical solution architects to help position HPE's comprehensive storage portfolio.
About the Role
The Storage & Data Solutions Sales Organization drives HPE's market leadership in enterprise storage, data protection, and modern infrastructure. Our customers rely on us to architect resilient data pipelines, manage massive data growth, and modernize their backup and archival strategies.
What You'll Do
- Provide presales support and solution mapping to assist technical sales specialists and architects in designing enterprise storage solutions that align customer pain points with HPE hardware, software, and tape-based data protection products.
- Help prepare compelling technical presentations, proposals, and solution briefs tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to research market trends, analyze competitor storage offerings, and support positioning strategies for HPE GreenLake.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, engineering, and sales teams to coordinate customer proof-of-concepts and technical deep-dives.
- Support the sales team with opportunity tracking, pipeline hygiene, and internal tools to streamline deal execution.
What You'll Need
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology, Business Administration with a tech focus, or a related field.
- Strong interest in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data storage, and server/storage hardware concepts.
- Enthusiasm for technology sales, customer engagement, and understanding how enterprise technology solves business problems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and ask smart questions.
- Structured, analytical approach to investigating customer requirements and matching them to technical solutions.
