Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2)

We are seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2) to join our Supply Chain Facility team.

The pay range for this role is $34.00 - $38.61 per hour, with potential additional compensation through a shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour.

As an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 2 (MT2), you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling equipment to ensure high equipment availability rates.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Adjust scanners, cameras, field buses, scales, and printer applicators
• Reset, repair, or replace adjustable and wearing components
• Clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment
• Utilise handheld devices and asset management system mobile apps to create and close Work Orders
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Operate Target-owned vehicles for maintenance activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• PC competency and ability to use mobile apps on handheld devices
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
• Experience in work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance procedures, and basic blueprint and schematic reading

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in Mechanical or Electrical field
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical field
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards, and robotic operation/maintenance
