Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the operations of our Professional Services organization in Japan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the risk associated with large-scale implementation engagements, ensuring quality and accuracy from contracting through delivery to revenue recognition. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including Sales, Delivery, Legal, and Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Deal Risk Assessment for large-scale implementation engagements
- Provide consultation on contract structuring for complex deals
- Conduct advance review of investment deals involving unpaid services
- Handle Security Checksheet responses on individual engagements
- Support internal processes and continuous operational improvement for maintaining Privacy Mark certification
- Organize governance for AI tool usage within the organization
- Mentor junior members and share knowledge on Deal Risk assessment
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Professional Services/Consulting
- 3+ years of experience in Deal Structuring
- Experience with risk assessment on large-scale implementation engagements
- Ability to negotiate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Business-level Japanese and English
Nice to Have:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Practical knowledge of information security/personal data protection
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606)
- Enthusiasm for improving work processes using AI tools
- Salesforce product knowledge/certifications

They will be able to work effectively with various stakeholders and provide guidance on deal risk assessment and contract structuring. The role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
