Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a positive and enthusiastic professional to join our highly skilled underwriting team in Consumer Lines.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and analyse risks for new and renewal of Accident & Health (A&H) business in accordance with company guidelines.
- Review policy wording, endorsements, and quotations to ensure alignment with underwriting guidelines and business objectives.
- Assess submissions, negotiate terms, and determine appropriate pricing and coverage conditions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with producers to support business retention, encourage new business opportunities, obtain necessary underwriting information, and deliver quality service.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient case handling and service delivery.
- Support other ad-hoc business assignments and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- At least 5 years of underwriting experience in A&H products.
- Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Customer-focused with a strong drive for execution.
- Strong spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
