Description

Anduril Intelligence Systems (AIS) is focused on positioning Anduril as a lead provider of specialized engineering and products for Intelligence Community (IC) customers. We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set.

You will define and document system architectures for complex hardware/software systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and allocation of requirements to hardware, software, and firmware elements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining traceability between requirements, designs, and tests to ensure the final product meets the specified requirements.
  • Collaborating with a fast-paced and quick reaction hardware and software design and development team.
  • Building, developing and integrating system models; incorporating inputs from stakeholder requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents.
  • Owning the system model as the authoritative source of design intent - structure, behaviour, interfaces, and requirements allocation - using next-generation agentic modelling tools.

Requirements include:

  • Strong engineering foundation in a core discipline such as software engineering, hardware design, or FPGA development.
  • 4+ years of experience documenting and developing system requirements in support of new product design, development and testing.
  • Experience in architecting, developing, and delivering electromechanical hardware and software systems.
  • Experience developing system architectures and design artifacts for products spanning hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Hands-on experience with system modelling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, including familiarity with SysML v1.x and/or v2.0.
  • Demonstrated experience optimising engineering workflows and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to decompose complex systems with competing objectives into executable requirements.
  • Strong technical communication skills.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain at least an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

The salary range for this role is $146,000-$194,000 USD per year. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers, and Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees.
