Description
We are seeking a Software Application Tester to execute and verify software application tests under broad guidance. As a tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our information systems products and services meet the minimum organisation standards and end-user requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business and functional requirements to derive valid test cases
- Carry out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organisation standards and end-user requirements
- Define master test plans to document overall testing strategy for a project
- Execute test scripts to test software, documenting validation of test scenarios, defects, and resolution
- Analyse test results and review test plans and supporting execution documentation as required
- Provide risk assessment throughout test cycles and create lessons learned summary upon completion of project
- Read, analyse, and interpret project requirement and technical design documents
- Write test plans for application functionality and software systems using a prescribed style and format
- Effectively present information in both written and verbal form to management, customers, or other technical personnel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
- Three years of related experience in quality assurance and testing
