Description
Paddle's IT team is looking for an IT Manager to lead and develop the team that keeps every Paddler equipped, connected, and secure. The IT Manager will set IT strategy, manage budget and vendor relationships, and lead people, while also being willing to get hands-on.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a lean team of IT engineers
- Own Okta identity and access management for the business
- Own macOS and Apple device management and endpoint tooling across the business
- Drive the adoption of data, automation, and AI across IT operations
- Set and own IT's operating rhythm
- Manage the IT budget and vendor portfolio
- Implement and maintain baseline security and resilience practices for IT-owned systems
- Act as the conduit between IT and the rest of the business
Requirements:
- Experience leading or managing a technical IT team
- Technical credibility with strong systems administration and infrastructure fundamentals
- Hands-on experience running an IAM platform in production, ideally Okta
- In-depth knowledge of macOS and Apple hardware
- Excitement about AI and automation as tools for operational leverage
- Ability to manage a budget and vendor relationships commercially
- Experience running IT projects end-to-end
- Understanding of core security and compliance fundamentals
- Strong leadership skills
