Description
As a Systems Administrator with GDIT, you will make a personal impact by providing technical support for Windows server systems, performing Tier II and Tier III administration, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support for Windows server systems
- Performing system administration duties
- Monitoring, managing, and maintaining pre-production and production environments
- Responding to system alerts and assigned tasks, incidents, and service requests
- Planning, designing, and deploying vendor and security-related patches, updates/upgrades, and hotfixes
- Conducting monthly vulnerability scans and assessments of servers
- Monitoring logs for suspicious activity on the servers
- Ensuring the security posture of the servers remains in compliance
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field (experience may be substituted for education)
- A minimum of 5 years' related technical experience, including:
- Windows System Administration Skills (Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016, and 2022 desired)
- Application installation, support, testing, and troubleshooting skills
- Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
- PowerShell Scripting
- Vulnerability Management
- Microsoft RemoteApp (a big plus)

The likely salary range for this position is $106,275 - $143,783.
