You will play a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse at Ridley Park care home. You will take responsibility for the well-being of our residents and make sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met. Your duties will include:
- Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals
- Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents
- Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislation
As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, you will be responsible for managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually.
Key skills and qualifications required for this role include:
- Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard
- Confidence in offering clinical guidance for care teams, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks
- Effective communication and reporting skills to effectively handover clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals
- Strong critical thinking skills, confidence and self-reliance in managing care staff and remaining calm in an emergency situation

Salary: Up to £21.12 per hour, depending on experience. Bank available with enhancement on weekend & overtime.
