Description
We are seeking a Tech Center Consultant - Japanese to provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. You will be responsible for delivering technology solutions that meet customers' business needs and for understanding customers' businesses. As a trusted advisor, you will create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assigned tasks within project delivery cycles
- Understand a broad spectrum of the company's technology to deliver detailed technical designs that meet customer requirements
- Tasks may include installing new systems applications, updating applications, firmware, and drivers, creating boundaries, performing configuration and testing activities, applications programming, and participating in customer meetings
- Work with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer-nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
- Contribute to design for specific deliverables and assist in the development of technical solutions
- Participate as part of a team and maintain good relationships with team members and customers
- Understand the company strategy and your role within it
- Use knowledge tools and reuse information for project and professional development benefits
- Use and contribute to technical forums within the company environment and local professional communities and technical user groups
Education and Experience Required:
- 3-5 years of technical experience or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (5-7 years in total)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Fluent communication in Japanese
- Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for implementing specific deliverables
- Ability to contribute to design for deliverables
- Ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products
- Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and peers
- Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer
