Description
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Kitchen Service to join our team at W Hotels in Hong Kong.
As an Assistant Manager, Kitchen Service, you will ensure that staff are working together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. You will inspect the grooming and attire of staff, complete opening and closing duties, and monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and the well-being of guests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring staff are working together as a team to provide optimum service
- Inspecting grooming and attire of staff
- Completing opening and closing duties
- Monitoring dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
- Assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, and motivating employees
- Following all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management
- Completing safety training and certifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
