Description
Howden Re is looking for a visionary leader to build a team from the ground up and bring their RFP process to life.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the business and with our Markets and Marketing teams to create a bespoke RFP process and proposition.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a clear RFP process and governance framework
- Identify, capture, manage, and triage all relevant opportunities
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to determine bid/no-bid decisions and strategic fit
- Project manage RFP responses from pre-invitation to post-decision
- Create high-quality RFP collateral, including a best-in-class RFP library
- Design and implement a post-tender review process
- Implement technology to drive innovation across the RFP process
- Develop a team to ensure exceptional design, proofreading, storytelling, and project management capabilities
- Design RFP training and education to support the development of embedded RFP champions
Requirements:
- Collaborative with the ability to build relationships across a matrixed environment
- Confident to influence senior stakeholders
- Experienced in leading RFP processes across a variety of audiences
- Re/insurance industry expert with a clear understanding of evolving reinsurance client needs
- Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders
