Description
We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to join our team in Leipzig. As a Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, administration, and further development of a secure network and firewall infrastructure.
Your tasks:
- Operation, administration, and further development of a secure network and firewall infrastructure
- Administration and error analysis of Fortigate and Sonicwall firewalls
- Support for Aruba and Cisco Nexus switching environments
- Analysis of network traffic and performance of traffic and security analyses
- Implementation of network segmentation and security measures
- Accompaniment of infrastructure changes, migrations, and upgrades
- Collaboration with internal departments, manufacturers, and external service providers
Your profile:
- Completed studies or training in the IT or network environment
- Several years of experience in network and firewall administration
- Good knowledge of Fortigate and Sonicwall firewalls as well as Aruba or Cisco Nexus switches
- Experience in routing, switching, VPN, and network security
- Knowledge of troubleshooting complex network environments
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Pronounced team and communication skills
- Very good German skills and good English skills
