Collaborates with dispensing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to accurately and efficiently prepare patient medication orders, package customer orders for shipment, and receive and stock supplies.
Responsibilities
- Gathers orders for shipment according to company specialty guidelines.
- Prepares labels and ships orders based on pharmacy guidelines and best practices.
- Maintains stock in the warehouse area and conducts monthly inventory reviews.
- Collects information for restocking packing stations with shipping supplies.
- Composes sorting order forms based on courier and class of service.
- Monitors unlocking stations, trains new operations assistants, and scans data for multi-piece handling.
- Follows workflow, orders packing supplies, and performs monthly audits.
- Gathers pharmacy files and records according to internal procedures.
Requirements
- Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., stand, walk, and lift for up to ten hours daily.
Compensation
- Starting pay rates: $17.50 - $18.94.
- Typical pay range: $16.00 - $26.21.
