As a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of up to 50 non-exempt colleagues in CVS Health's state-of-the-art distribution facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and assign work to new hires
- Ensure employees have necessary equipment, materials, and documents to complete tasks
- Monitor and adjust resources to achieve daily production and delivery goals
- Balance workloads by monitoring volume throughout the day
- Monitor work performance of each employee to ensure quality and quantity standards are met
- Conduct staff meetings and verify accurate completion of daily worksheets
- Provide ongoing training and retraining of employees
- Utilize reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems
- Communicate effectively across all levels
- Analyze information to make sound business decisions
- Build high-performance teams and engage colleagues
- Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office
- 1st shift, Monday – Friday (ranging from 4:30am-2:30pm)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Preferred: Spanish
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory or group leading experience in an automated facility
- Bachelor’s degree
- Background in Six Sigma production techniques
