Description
We are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at The Park Hospital in Nottingham. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supporting our Physiotherapy department during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff.
The successful candidate will assist with the delivery of physiotherapy interventions as directed by a registered Physiotherapist, support patients with prescribed exercises, mobility practice, and therapeutic activities, and set up treatment areas and equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with physiotherapy interventions
- Supporting patients with exercises and mobility practice
- Preparing treatment areas and equipment
- Providing reassurance and motivation to patients
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Following health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding procedures
To be considered for this role, you should have experience working in a healthcare, care, or rehabilitation setting, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £14.97 per hour, depending on experience, training, and qualification.
