Electronic Arts is looking for a Game Designer to join the EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team franchise in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Game Designer will be responsible for designing engaging game modes and progression systems that elevate player excitement, measured by retention and engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing AAA systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for football or sports games.
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative game modes and player progression systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on the overall vision for Ultimate Team
- Leverage market insights, player feedback, and data analytics to identify opportunities for innovation
- Mentor and inspire peers and less experienced designers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing AAA systems
- Expert in craft with a track record of taking full ownership of major design systems
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience working across multiple disciplines
Ideal Candidate:
