Description
As a Production Manufacturing Supervisor at 3M, you will lead on-shift activities for a crew in an assigned department, driving results in EHS, Quality, and Productivity that align with plant goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a safe working environment through formal inspections, audits, and safety meetings
- Conducting incident investigations, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
- Providing effective communication to employees and direct supervision and development to production and hourly employees
- Planning and coordinating priorities, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes
- Monitoring production rates, yields, and quality of products
- Organizing and reviewing changeovers to minimize downtime
- Leading and participating in Kaizen continuous improvement sessions
- Implementing cost reduction programs and lean management systems
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- OR Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Additional qualifications include previous supervisory experience, excellent organization skills, and experience with continuous improvement projects

Salary range: $95,591 - $116,834
