This is a Team Lead, Scaled Account Management role at Adyen in London.

The Scaled Account Management team in London provides the best experience to a portfolio of mid-sized, fast-growth merchants using a pooled Account Management approach focusing on efficiency and proactivity.

- Build strong relationships with merchants

- Consult and train key stakeholders
- Manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives and projects in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment
As the Team Lead, your role and some of your responsibilities will include:
- Team management: coaching, supporting, managing workload, and maintaining a fair and fun work environment
- Commercial target ownership and delivery: ensuring every team member contributes to achieving annual targets
- Driving scalability initiatives and projects with other global AM Leads
- Leading day-to-day operations, involving yourself in operational tasks and supporting the team in merchant escalation calls or critical negotiations
- Hiring, developing, and retaining diverse talents
- Aligning and collaborating with internal teams to provide outstanding Customer Experience to merchants
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing B2B role, preferably Account Management/Customer Success/Sales
- 3+ years of experience managing a team
- Proven commercial edge and strong negotiation skills
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think big picture and drive scalability
- Genuine interest and technical aptitude/understanding of Adyen's products and industry
- Experience in leading hiring processes and identifying talents
