Description
We are seeking a Programme Context Lead to drive the strategic transformation of the Avaloq platform across Private Banking and Wealth Management. You will be responsible for leading the transformation from initial implementation through the longer-term strategic roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Avaloq transformation, from initial implementation through the longer-term strategic roadmap.
- Drive the move towards a simplified SaaS-based core banking platform, including books and records.
- Provide strong leadership across architecture, engineering, integration, migration and business change.
- Ensure the programme is delivered as a front-to-back business transformation, rather than solely a technology implementation.
- Build strong alignment between senior PBWM business stakeholders and technology teams.
Accountabilities:
- Scope Management: Oversee a collection of related projects that together aim to achieve broader strategic business objectives.
- Strategic Focus: Focus on strategic, high-level outcomes.
- Time Horizon: Typically work over a longer time horizon, as programs may span months or years and involve multiple phases and projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage a wide range of stakeholders across various projects.
- Risk and Issue Management: Manage risks and issues at a higher level, focusing on cross-project dependencies and potential impacts on the broader program or business strategy.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources across multiple projects, balancing priorities, and ensuring that resources are used efficiently across the program.
- Financial Management: Manage the overall program budget, tracking the financial health of multiple projects.
- Metrics: Measure success based on the cumulative benefits delivered by all the projects within the program.
- Change Management: Deal with change at a macro level, ensuring that changes across projects are managed cohesively.
Director Expectations:
- Manage a business function, providing significant input to function-wide strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to and influence policy and procedures for the function.
- Plan, manage and consult on multiple complex and critical strategic projects.
- Manage the direction of a large team or sub-function, leading other people managers.
- Embed a performance culture aligned to the values of the business.
- Provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees.
Requirements:
- Avaloq platform experience.
- Significant experience leading large-scale core banking or technology platform transformations.
- Strong experience of SaaS implementation, platform modernisation and migration.
- Strong Private Banking / Wealth Management experience, ideally with deep Private Banking knowledge.
- Technically credible with the ability to operate effectively with senior business stakeholders.
