Description
As an IT Intern at Keywords Studios in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines, you will assist in troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the IT team in setting up computers, accounts, and applications for users
- Helping maintain IT equipment inventory and documentation
- Participating in monitoring system performance and reporting issues
- Providing basic technical support to employees as needed
- Learning and applying IT best practices in daily tasks, including performing routine maintenance such as updates, patches, and backups
- Supporting IT projects like system upgrades, migrations, or process improvements
- Documenting solutions for common technical problems for knowledge sharing
- Observing and shadowing IT staff to gain exposure to real-world IT operations
- Participating in meetings or training sessions as required
To qualify, you must be a student currently taking up Information Technology, Computer Science, or related courses, and be enrolled in practicum/internship units.
Requirements include:
- Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, and networking
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to commit to the required internship hours
