We are seeking a Mobile Engineer 5 to join our team at Capital One. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving a major transformation across the enterprise.
You will partner with software engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-performing, quality features for 100M+ customers that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicity. You will also partner with product leaders to influence multi-quarter engineering roadmaps, architect and build core components and shared libraries, contribute to standards for cross-platform consistency, and serve as a subject matter expert in critical areas like mobile performance and platform-specific UI frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, mobile architectural design and project execution across multiple teams, and at least 6 years of experience building native mobile applications for Android or iOS.
In terms of qualifications, we require a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field. Preferred qualifications include 7+ years of experience building native mobile applications for Android or iOS, proven experience with modern native UI frameworks, and experience providing technical leadership for a large product area.
This role comes with a salary range of $229,900 - $262,400 per year, and is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. Capital One offers a comprehensive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
