Cook - Full Time PM Shifts - Holiday Inn Dulles - starting at $20/hour

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn Dulles, a leading business class hotel in Sterling, Virginia. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to high standards, supporting other cooks, and enforcing health regulations. You will play a key role in achieving financial results, guest satisfaction, and positive team member relations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality food production and presentation, adhering to Holiday Inn brand standards.
• Conduct daily line checks, audits, and implement improvements.
• Manage food costs, maintain company assets, and prolong resource life.
• Provide excellent guest service, addressing concerns promptly.
• Lead by example with food safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate effective self-management, communication skills, and collaboration.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience.
• Detail-oriented, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Work extended hours with physically demanding responsibilities.
