We are seeking a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, driving sales, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments
- Hold team leaders accountable for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Celebrate outstanding guest experiences across teams
- Review area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify gaps
- Develop a plan to resolve gaps and drive results
- Partner across teams to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience
- Oversee all GM & Food backroom and sales floor areas
- Build a team to lead the execution of daily/weekly workload
- Drive total store sales and demonstrate how your team contributes to profitability
- Model creating a welcoming experience by greeting guests and acknowledging their needs
- Assess, plan, and validate best practices to determine operational opportunities
- Manage Food & Beverage business, food services, and alcohol sales
- Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work
- Develop a strategy and utilize workload planning tools to complete scheduled workload
- Conduct regular check-ins with your team to guide task completion
- Drive a culture centered in food safety and train team to deliver proper execution
- Lead the development of partnerships with vendors to ensure clear expectations
- Lead the understanding of how operational procedures impact shortage, profitability, and inventory
Requirements:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Ability to manage conflict and hold others accountable
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision making
- Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

Salary Range: $64,000.00 - $128,000.00
