We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Mobile Backend Developer to join our team in Whippany, NJ. You will design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed about industry technology trends and innovations, and contribute to the organisation's technology communities.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Additional Expectations
- Provide technical leadership within a team responsible for designing and developing scalable mobile applications and microservices for the mobile backend.
- Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are considered.
- Architect applications with proven design patterns and ensure they are fully secured using authentication and authorization methods.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, architects, and product teams to define contracts, improve API usability, and troubleshoot issues.
