Description
Salesforce is seeking a Staff iOS Developer Experience (DevXP) Engineer to join their team. As a DevXP engineer, you will be responsible for building strong, sustainable, and AI-powered developer tooling for the Slack iOS app. You will work on pioneering an agentic software development lifecycle (Agentic SDLC) where intelligent tools and autonomous workflows handle the heavy lifting so engineers don't have to reinvent the wheel.
Responsibilities:
- Building next-generation developer workflows and intelligent agents that make iOS development best-in-class at Slack
- Leading others and mentoring and growing other iOS engineers in an increasingly AI-assisted landscape
- Setting a high bar for the technical design and code quality of your team
- Demonstrating exceptional ownership of not only the area of your team, but across Slack's entire iOS codebase
- Debugging complex issues and prompting AI agents to auto-triage broken CI pipelines
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience building and maintaining complex iOS tooling from CI to CD
- Deep expertise with Swift, Bazel, Python, and Xcode tools
- Hands-on experience with Agentic SDLC workflows,using and integrating AI coding agents to automate PR generation, code reviews, and boilerplate refactoring
- Ability to monitor and improve KPIs such as CI stability, TimeToMerge, and build time metrics
- Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing tools, and scripting

Salary: $197,300 - $313,700 annually
