Description
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Software Engineer to support a long-term DIA-NDOC DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. You will lead an application team responsible for maintaining the continuous flow of new software enhancements and deployments, while managing risks, escalating impediments, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key tasks include:
- Developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Python-based microservices
- Developing and maintaining integrations with Elasticsearch
- Writing and executing unit and integration tests
- Participating in technical design discussions, code reviews, and software development planning activities
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects and operational issues
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience developing software applications using Python
- Experience with containerization technologies
- Experience developing and troubleshooting software in a Linux environment
- Experience using Git and collaborative software development workflows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Ability to work independently on assigned development tasks while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with DGX systems
- Elasticsearch certifications or other relevant technology stack certifications
- Experience supporting production or enterprise-scale software systems
- Familiarity with or experience developing applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) or Agentic AI
