Description
We are seeking a Relationship Director, Global Corporates Coverage, Southeast Asia - VP to establish and nurture profitable partnerships with corporate and individual clients. You will play a pivotal role developing and deepening relationships with Singapore-based regional treasury centers for APAC MNCs and Global Corporates Headquartered in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coverage for Global Corporates in Southeast Asia and RTCs for large Asian multinational corporates.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers.
- Develop and execute account plans to deepen wallet share across the Barclays franchise.
- Develop new business, retain and manage a portfolio of clients, develop strong, long-term relationships.
- Identify and drive business development – both in terms of new business with existing customers as well as new customers.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience covering Southeast Asia Global Corporates & RTCs of APAC-headquartered multinational corporations.
- Established relationships with corporate treasury professionals across Southeast Asia.
- Strong understanding of treasury and transaction banking, credit and lending, capital markets, and corporate sales.
- Experience covering Malaysia, Indonesia and/or Thailand corporates will be a bonus.
- Demonstrated origination capability and ability to independently manage a portfolio.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial judgement, credit skills and transaction execution experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple product partners to deliver integrated solutions.
