Description
WSP is seeking a Full-Time entry-level HVAC Technician, Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing for our Columbia, Maryland or York, PA office. The successful candidate will travel onsite to clients in the DMV area.
As an HVAC Technician, you will be involved in projects with our Testing and Balancing Group, working with institutional clients such as hospitals, labs, and higher education institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing, adjusting, and balancing to ensure proper operation of HVAC systems
- Perform critical space testing to measure airflows and confirm room pressurization
- Carry out pre-commissioning to verify mechanical system installation
- Conduct functional performance testing to confirm system operation
- Complete training on assigned tasks
- Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Basic computer skills and tablet operation
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and receive direction from senior staff
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible to work minor off-hours shifts as needed
- Valid COVID-19 vaccination and yearly flu shot required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or relevant experience

Compensation:
- Expected Salary: $48,100 - $68,000
