We seek a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Messaging Experience (MX) team, which owns the user experience for creating Canvases and Campaigns in Braze.
Responsibilities As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will set the team's engineering direction and processes, grow its engineers and technical leads, own hiring for the team, and partner closely with the Product Manager and Designer.
Requirements
- 5+ years managing software engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership
- Track record of delivering and evolving large, customer-facing web applications
- Strong technical judgment in modern front-end stacks (React, TypeScript, design systems)
- Experience working closely with Product and Design
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Redis, Kubernetes, Datadog, or large monolith-to-modular migrations
