We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a leading personal injury firm, we are dedicated to providing top-notch service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in personal injury or insurance defense and a strong desire to work as part of a team to advocate for injured clients.
Responsibilities Using intelligent, compassionate, and determined advocacy, your primary mission is to maximize recovery for the value of our client's harm and the wrong that caused it. You will be a key member of a team dedicated to making a meaningful impact. Your duties will include:
- Intake and first meetings with clients: showing compassion and building trust, documenting all facts pertinent to liability, damages, and coverage
- Investigation: directing investigations to build strong cases for trial, assessing insurance coverage, and gathering critical evidence
- Negotiation: preparing cases for trial while evaluating Full Settlement Value, maintaining relationships with adjusters, and negotiating aggressively and strategically
- Litigation: preparing pleadings and discovery for lawsuits, strategizing and executing trial preparations, mediation, or arbitration
