Description
We are seeking a Senior Design Recruiter to join our team at Brex, an intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in over 200 markets.
As a Senior Design Recruiter, you will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers and design leadership to define team needs and role requirements, ensuring alignment on hiring goals across Product Design, Brand Design, and Design Leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading sourcing and outreach for design roles using various channels
- Recruiting across Product Design, Brand/Visual Design, and Design Leadership
- Screening and evaluating portfolios, assessing craft, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
- Partnering with design leaders to calibrate on craft standards, hiring bar, and team composition
- Coordinating and facilitating interview processes, including portfolio reviews and design exercises
- Providing regular updates on pipeline health and progress to hiring managers and stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate candidate data in recruiting systems and dashboards
- Contributing to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, inclusive hiring, and candidate experience
- Helping shape and promote Brex's design employer brand
Requirements for this role include:
- Proven experience recruiting for design roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with AI tools, recruiting platforms, and creative talent networks
- Ability to assess design portfolios and understand craft, systems thinking, and user-centered methods
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret recruiting metrics and drive process improvements
- Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously
Nice to have:
- Experience recruiting design leaders or building design teams from the ground up
- Familiarity with compensation strategy and market analysis for design roles
- Employer branding or talent marketing experience focused on the design community
- Hiring experience across multiple geographies
The expected salary range for this role is CA$112,000–$140,000, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.
