Zscaler seeks a Director, P&C Communications & Cultural Narrative to join its People & Culture team at its Santa Clara headquarters.
This role involves leading an integrated P&C Communications and Creative team while serving as a strategic thought partner, executive communications leader, and change narrative strategist. The successful candidate will shape how Zscaler's people strategy, culture, and organisational priorities are translated into clear, compelling narratives across employee and candidate experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted advisor to senior P&C leaders on executive communications and strategic advisory
- Evaluating major People & Culture initiatives to anticipate employee sentiment and assess downstream impact
- Shaping the narrative, sequencing, audience messaging, channels, leader communications, and manager communication tools for complex organisational changes
- Leading the development of a cohesive cultural narrative that connects Zscaler's people strategy, Ways of Working, and employee experience
- Collaborating with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align internal and external messaging
- Establishing feedback mechanisms to gauge communication effectiveness, sentiment, and message retention
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of progressive experience across communications disciplines, including executive communications, corporate communications, and Employer Brand/Talent PR
- A proven track record of supporting organisational change in a fast-paced global environment
- Demonstrated editorial judgment and the ability to influence senior leaders
- Experience leading multidisciplinary communications, creative, and/or talent brand teams
- A deep understanding of change dynamics, organisational psychology, and messaging risk management
