Eastrop House in Basingstoke, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Night Support Worker to join their team. The service supports 11 adults with a range of needs and is located in a town setting, accessible by public transport.
As a Night Support Worker, you will be part of a compassionate team committed to residents' wellbeing. You will assist qualified staff with assessing and implementing individual patient care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities, and ensure residents' personal needs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring residents have their personal needs met, including personal care, participation in activities, and support with daily living tasks
- Completing daily administration tasks, such as updating care plans and charts
- Maintaining professional relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and visitors
- Contributing to the maintenance of safety, security, and confidentiality standards
The role requires excellent communication and personal interaction skills, including the ability to support residents who may use challenging behaviour or alternative communication methods.
