Description
We are seeking a Discrete Event Simulation Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at American Honda Motor Company. As a Discrete Event Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing simulation models to analyze and optimize manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop simulation models using discrete event simulation software
- Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and optimize manufacturing systems
- Develop and maintain documentation of simulation models and results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with discrete event simulation software such as Arena, Simio, or AnyLogic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
