Description
We are seeking an Auto Transportation Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Transportation Adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve commercial transportation-related claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of auto transportation claims experience, handle moderate complexity claims involving Bodily Injury (BI) and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) exposures, and demonstrate developing expertise in transportation claims.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing claims of increasing complexity
- Collaborating with clients, insureds, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders
- Conducting independent coverage analysis and claim strategy decisions
- Handling files with attorney representation and moderate litigation activity
Requirements:
- Active MI claims adjusting licenses or reciprocal (NY a plus)
- Strong knowledge of liability claims handling practices
- Experience handling BI, PIP, or auto transportation-related claims preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple claims while maintaining quality and service standards
- Proficiency with claims management systems and related technology
Preferred qualifications:
- Exposure to high-exposure or litigated claims
- Familiarity with multi-party liability claims
- Multi-state claims handling experience
