Description

As Sterlington PLLC scales, our associates need people management, feedback that helps them grow, and a real sense of belonging. You'll own attorney development from the ground up, building the feedback cadence, development programs, and sense of community that turns associates into long-term, fully utilized members of the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a feedback cadence around our firm-wide culture of feedback, supporting team members in receiving the feedback they need to propel their growth.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, working closely with partners and firm leadership, tailoring your approach to each.
  • Create a sense of community, developing programs and touchpoints that make associates feel like they belong to the firm.
  • Own learning & development, designing and managing L&D programs end-to-end, grounded in adult learning theory.
  • Coach and mentor, working directly with associates as a people manager.
  • Use data to drive decisions, analyzing utilization and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition efforts, applying a working knowledge of US employment law.
  • Represent attorney development as a real function within the firm, speaking with authority.

  • Real coaching and mentoring experience, ideally as a people manager.
  • Working knowledge of US employment law.
  • Data-driven, comfortable pulling together utilization and performance data.
