Description
We're seeking a Manager of Product Design to lead Partner Experiences in the Global Payment Network at Capital One.
The Global Payments Network enables partners' success through easy access to payment technology, fraud monitoring, and compliance platforms.
As a Product Designer, you'll combine craft expertise and leadership skills with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions and influence product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate product design expertise, leveraging various skills across interaction, visual, and service design
- Lead design projects, directing and delegating work for junior team members and building partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Navigate partners' and stakeholders' needs, focusing on customer-centered solutions and inclusive design
- Apply business acumen, using insights on customers, competitors, and market trends to shape a shared point of view
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and share solutions
- Present work effectively, integrating design frameworks, data, and research insights to influence strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 5 years of experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in a Product Design role
- Experience working with and contributing to an established design system
- Experience collaborating with product, tech, and business partners
- Experience leading design projects or teams
- Experience working in heavily regulated, data-heavy problem spaces
Salary Information:
- McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100
- Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000
- New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100
