Description
The Datadog Security design team, also known as K9 Design, is looking for a senior product design manager to lead design across its security products.
This role involves leading a team of designers across cloud, code, and data security, with the goal of building a security product that security practitioners want to use.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead design direction and ensure design excellence across products
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to achieve design goals
- Coach and grow designers across multiple offices
- Help define a security design system
- Partner with leaders to shape roadmaps and set cross-disciplinary workflows
- Take accountability for product and business outcomes influenced by design work
- Bring AI fluency to design processes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of design experience, including team leadership
- Strong design leadership skills, with a focus on user advocacy and detail
- Experience leading complex products or features
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- AI fluency and comfort with technical complexity
