Spire Southampton has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join their friendly and welcoming Ward department. The successful applicant will work in a team that provides high-quality evidence-based nursing care in ward-based settings. You must be flexible to work a variety of shifts across days and nights and weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Develop your own knowledge and skills and those of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Requirements:
- You will be a Registered Nurse with NMC registration and no restrictions.
- Experience of working in an acute environment is essential, ideally on a surgical ward.
- You must have UK experience working in a surgical ward.
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
Working Hours:
- Full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (30 hours) positions available.
- Variation of long days, nights, earlies and lates.
