Description
As a Logistics Planner at Biffa Waste Services, you will support the effective running of the day-to-day operations of the Reactive Services logistics team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Allocate and manage daily routes to deliver top-class service.
- Maximise route efficiency and disposal use across the area.
- Debrief drivers daily to spot and resolve issues fast.
- Manage driver availability, compliance, and coverage.
- Assign jobs to the right vehicle types safely and legally.
- Oversee daily vehicle checks and availability.
Essential criteria:
- Experience of a position of similar responsibility in Services or Logistics industry
- Health & Safety conscious
- Good geographical knowledge E.g. Postcode areas.
- Good transport / logistics knowledge
