Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead BizTech Enablement and Innovation (BEI), BizTech's solutions partner to the rest of the company.
The team works with various non-technical functions to understand their needs, develop solutions, and ensure employee adoption of BizTech-provided technology.
You will report to the Director, Tech Foundations, and play a strategic leadership role within a large business unit.
For the next 18 months, the team's focus is AI. You will own the company's approach to AI adoption and impact outside of Engineering, set the vision for AI-enabled work, hold functions accountable to measurable outcomes, and serve as BizTech's primary partner to E-Team leaders on AI transformation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting strategy and vision for AI adoption and impact across Airbnb's non-technical functions
- Assessing current gaps, existing capabilities, and emerging AI trends to anticipate future needs
- Simplifying the tools business teams use by steering them to supported solutions
- Setting organizational OKRs and success criteria for near and long-term initiatives
- Driving executive alignment and function-level accountability
- Building a metric-driven accountability culture
- Designing and refining the operating model for enablement
- Leading and growing a multi-disciplinary, globally distributed organization
- Championing innovation and continuous improvement
- Representing BizTech in company-wide AI forums and contributing to hiring committees
Requirements:
- 12+ years of industry experience in business technology, enterprise systems, digital transformation, or technical program leadership
- 5+ years leading managers and multi-disciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record setting and delivering multi-year strategy for a company-wide technology or transformation program
- Experience leading business technology consulting, solutions engineering, or IT business partnering for non-technical teams
- Experience owning the quality, reliability, and support of technology solutions in production
- Experience building trusted relationships with, and influencing, C-level and E-Team executives
- Deep understanding of generative AI tools and agentic workflows
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid change
