Description
We are seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to oversee fleet and Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and cost efficiency.
As a Regional Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing fleet compliance, uptime, and costs, as well as leading engineering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering standards and efficiency improvements.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of fleet, Mechanical Handling Equipment, and compliance legislation, coupled with significant experience in logistics operations and engineering practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating fleet incidents and ensuring root cause analysis is conducted
- Managing SLAs with external suppliers and monitoring fleet and MHE uptime
- Leading engineering projects and developing cost-effective solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering standards and efficiency improvements
- Maintaining safe and efficient fleet operations while driving sustainable practices and compliance with legislative requirements
