Description
As a Senior Consulting Engineer at ClickHouse, you'll work on high-profile projects with customers across EMEA, designing and implementing solutions using ClickHouse.
You'll collaborate with customers to understand their goals, scope projects, and define measurable success criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Turn customer goals into scoped projects with clear success criteria, sizing, and timelines
- Design target architectures and prove them against customer data
- Implement solutions, including pipelines, integrations, and migrations
- Measure and test solutions before handover
- Tune and optimize production solutions
- Hand over solutions with engagement reports and knowledge transfers
- Take cases alongside support engineers between projects
- Feed insights back to Product and Engineering teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience
- Depth in databases, particularly analytical, transactional, or relational databases
- Hands-on SQL experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Kubernetes deployment and management experience
- Fluent English
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Hands-on Splunk experience
- Migration experience from systems like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Elastic
- Terraform experience
- Data pipeline and streaming experience (Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, etc.)
- Python, Bash, or Go experience
- Open-source involvement
