Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You will apply your electrical design knowledge on project work from conceptual design through completion in commercial, residential, retail, and institutional buildings. Technical quality, cost effectiveness, building and maintaining client relationships, and providing guidance to a team of designers are integral parts of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems for buildings.
- Perform technical calculations and use software for lighting analyses and load calculations.
- Write detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, and provide written responses and instructions during all project phases.
- Collaborate with internal clients and other engineering disciplines.
- Manage and enhance client relationships.
- Implement and enforce Revit and CAD standards.
- Coordinate with iCRC-coordinator to agree on priorities and deadlines for drawing production.
- Ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced.
- Produce work according to WSP in Canada BIM standards and suggest revisions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Proficient with Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical software like ETAP.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in electrical design.
- Ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
- Focus on electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs.
