Description
We are seeking a Medical Affairs Specialist to serve as a scientific and medical leader in our Japan Medical Affairs team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical and scientific expertise to healthcare professionals, medical societies, regulators, and academia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute medical plans aligned with global medical strategies to address unmet medical needs
- Provide scientific and medical information to stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and external experts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing and development teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and medical societies
- Collect and share insights from stakeholders to inform medical strategy and business opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Master's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, veterinary medicine, dentistry, or MD
- 4-year university undergraduate degree and master's degree in life sciences, or equivalent experience
- Pharmacists with a 4-year university graduate degree and master's degree or equivalent life science research experience
- Experience in medical affairs or research preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical sciences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred qualifications:
- MD (clinical experience, board certification preferred)
- PhD in Life Sciences
- Scientific publication experience
- Experience in Japan Medical Affairs
Language requirements:
- Fluent in English and Japanese
- Minimum TOEIC score of 730
