Description
Syneos Health is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Specialist II to join their team in Quebec City. The successful candidate will be responsible for general laboratory support functions and specialised areas, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and validation.
Job Responsibilities
The Laboratory Equipment Specialist II will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair analytical systems, install and validate new equipment, operate robotic equipment supporting sample analysis, optimise analytical system conditions, verify instrument component accuracy, start analytical runs within required timelines, coordinate instrument usage, assist in result analysis and interpretation, integrate and review chromatograms using specialised software, and help train analytical instrument users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Sciences or related field
- Demonstrated computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, and familiarity with various analytical instrument programs
- Experience in a regulated environment
- Bilingualism required, including understanding simple messages and following basic instructions
