Description

Pfizer's Specialty Care Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) team is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Strategy who delivers the insights and analytics behind field and account strategy across the Specialty Care portfolio.

The Senior Manager turns field execution, account performance, and customer intelligence into analyses that sharpen deployment, targeting, and account strategy for sales leadership, National Sales Directors, the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP), and key and national account teams.

Responsibilities:

Field Enablement & Execution Effectiveness

  • Build and maintain business rules and analytics for field alert strategies, delivering real-time data-driven signals to field-based colleagues through tools like PinPoint.
  • Monitor alert performance and patient signals, recommending business-rule refinements to improve commercial relevance and rep adoption.
  • Measure the impact of field tools and capabilities, working with Enablement, CRM, Brand, Operations, and Technology teams to inform improvements in precision targeting and field effectiveness.

Field Force Sizing, Structure & Deployment

  • Build and run analyses that inform sales-force size, structure, territory alignment, resource allocation, and deployment for field-based colleagues.
  • Use advanced analytics to assess sales-force effectiveness and develop actionable recommendations with the Director, Field & Account Strategy for sales leadership.

Account & Customer Analytics

  • Deliver account-level insights on market dynamics, growth potential, and competitive activity at key accounts in support of account teams.
  • Build performance metrics, market-potential assessments, and competitive dynamics reviews that support Key Account Directors and National Account Directors.
  • Support integrated account planning and run customer segmentation analytics.

Connection to Patient Solutions

  • Serve as Customer Strategy's point of connection with IIS Patient Solutions colleagues, partnering on questions where field execution, account dynamics, and patient access meet.
  • Bring patient-services signals into field and account analytics, sharing field and account insight back into Patient Solutions work.

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Keep cross-functional work moving through clear analysis and strong follow-through, managing through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Help build analytics fluency with sales and account partners, mentoring and sharing best practices with junior IIS colleagues.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial analytics, commercial strategy, management consulting, or a combination thereof.
  • 3+ years of hands-on field, account, or customer analytics, ideally in support of sales or account teams.
  • Proven track record of framing problems and delivering analytic solutions for challenging business situations.
  • In-depth knowledge of multiple analytic disciplines with a keen understanding of what strong, timely, and high-quality insight looks like.
  • Exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity; a creative problem-solver who fosters innovation.
  • Experience supporting both marketing and sales or field organizations, translating brand strategy into field and account analytics and recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience with field-effectiveness or account analytics.
  • Experience integrating and interpreting commercial data sources.
  • Proven ability to be a trusted thought partner and to influence without authority.
  • Team orientation and collaborative approach with outstanding listening skills and the ability to manage through influence.
  • Refined executive presence with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences commercial analytics.
  • Familiarity with field enablement and alerting tools, sales-force effectiveness methodologies, patient services analytics, and AI tools in commercial settings.

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive and generous benefits and programs to help colleagues lead healthy lives and support each of life's moments.
  • 401(k) plan with Pfizer Matching Contributions and an additional Pfizer Retirement Savings Contribution.
  • Paid vacation, holiday, and personal days.
  • Paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
  • Health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
