Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Counsel

We are seeking an Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Counsel to provide primary support for 3M India and potentially support global teams as needed.

The E&C Counsel will provide substantive counselling on anti-corruption and compliance with 3M's Code of Conduct and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing counselling on anti-corruption and compliance issues
• Supporting the screening and selection of third parties
• Identifying and mitigating risks
• Developing and deploying training and awareness on key policies and procedures
• Reviewing and approving high-risk transactions
• Contributing to E&C processes such as risk assessments and compliance evaluations
• Monitoring and reporting E&C metrics

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid and active license to practice law in India
• More than 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance programs in a multinational environment
• Fluent in English
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and with relatively low direct supervision
• Flexibility and awareness of cultural differences
