Description
The Provo City Ice Arena is seeking a part-time Adult Ice Hockey Program Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement recreational ice hockey programs.
Job Details The pay rate is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. As a part-time Provo City employee, you will be eligible to contribute to individual retirement savings plans and receive perks such as free admission to the Provo Recreation Center and Peaks Ice Arena Public Skating.
Main Duties
- Organize, schedule, implement, and evaluate adult hockey programs.
- Establish rosters and participant lists, and maintain schedules.
- Ensure adequate coverage for programs and supervise part-time staff and volunteers.
- Develop marketing strategies and create promotional materials.
- Monitor program equipment and track expenses.
- Review player incidents and administer disciplinary actions.
- Order supplies and make recommendations on budget materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
Hours Approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexible hours from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and some night shifts.
Physical and Environmental Factors This position involves office work and outdoor recreation work with high noise levels, cold, and some adverse weather exposure.
